No New Posts Eriador
Eriador is approximately six hundred miles from east to west, and is mostly lowlands. Hill areas are mainly in the realms of Arnor, the Shire, and the far eastern parts, with plains in the south and southwest, and woodlands with scrublands in the north and northeast. The climate is mainly humid with relatively mild to cold winters, with a constantly warm and moist wind blowing over Ered Luin. In the north, cold and dry winds blow down from the polar north. Its spoken languages are Hobbitish and Westron, the latter being dominant.

No New Posts Lindon
Lindon is a region west of Ered Luin, and is the westernmost land in Middle-earth. The Gulf of Lune divides the realm into North (Forlindon) and South (Harlindon). Most of the Noldor have departed from the Grey Havens for Valinor, and Lindon has become depopulated. It is ruled by the Telerin elf Círdan the Shipwright, Gil-galad's lieutenant, who builds ships for the departing Elves. Beyond the Lune is Elvish country, where no Men are, but Dwarves dwell in the east side of Ered Luin. Its spoken languages are Sindarin, Khuzdul, and Westron.

No New Posts Rhovanion
Rhovanion is considerably populated - Dwarves dwell in Erebor, Ered Mithrin, Khazad-dûm, and the Iron Hills, and Men dwell in and around the south and east of Eryn Galen; there are Silvan Elf kingdoms in Eryn Galen and Lórien, ruled by Sindarin lords. A strong alliance has been formed between Rhovanion and Gondor as a result of Gondor destroying all camps of the Easterlings.

No New Posts Rhûn
Also known as The East, and Eastlands, Rhûn is a large region in the far east of Middle-earth. It is home to the Easterlings, a race of Men who follow Dark Lords and fight as their allies. Its spoken languages are a Mannish dialect unknown to the rest of Middle-earth, Khuzdul, and Avari languages.

No New Posts Rohan
Rohan was originally part of Gondor, but gained independence when the land was given in gift to Eorl and his people by Cirion, Steward of Gondor. Its people were originally known to the Men of Gondor as the Rohirrim, the Horse-lords, but the people of Rohan called themselves the Eorlingas, the sons of Eorl, the first king of Rohan. He swore an oath of friendship, at need or at call, to the Lords of Gondor, and the Rohirrim are the greatest allies of the Men of Gondor. Its spoken languages are Rohirric, Westron, and Khuzdul.

No New Posts Gondor
Gondor is the prominent kingdom of Men in Middle-earth. Its capital is Osgiliath. Since its founding, Gondor's wealth, power, and military might have grown, reaching its Golden Age under the four "Ship-kings". However, it has begun to decline since. Its spoken languages are Adûnaic, Westron, and Sindarin.

No New Posts Mordor
Mordor is protected from three sides by the large mountain ranges of Ered Lithui in the north and Ephel Dúath in the west and south. Much of Mordor's geography is dry and blasted, whereas Núrn in the south is slightly more fertile and moist; Orodruin's ash has left its soil nutrient-rich, allowing dry-land farming. Its spoken languages are Westron, Black Speech, and Orkish.

No New Posts Haradwaith
Haradwaith, also known as Harad, home to the Haradrim, in the minds of the men of northwestern Middle-earth, had tribes that were divided into those of Near and Far Harad, although there were many tribes of the Haradrim, often mutually hostile. Those of Near Harad are swarthy, with black hair and dark eyes, and those of Far Harad have black skin. The terrain varies between grassland, desert, and jungle for the most part throughout Haradwaith.
